During the pandemic, I was fortunate to work with Ms. Catherine Wooten and learn about the historical, technical, and cultural aspects of the lesser known sharecropper-style quilting. Supported by the Maryland State Arts Council, they also produced a short video documenting the project.
In January 2023, I was invited to give a talk at Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, RaceB4Race Poetics Symposium.
